Marion B. Neumann, age 87, of Cambridge died December 22, 2017 at home. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
Marion Blankholm Johnson Neumann passed away at the Walker Methodist Levande Residence in Cambridge, Minnesota on December 22, 2017 at the age of 87 years and 4 months.
Marion was a lover of music, gardening (especially roses), travel, church, family, friends and of her cats. She was a long-time member of Epworth and Pilgrim United Methodist Churches, The Silvertones (formerly known as The Mother Singers), and a former member of the National Rose Society (she won many ribbons at the Minnesota State Fair).
Marion is survived by her 6 children: William Lee “Bill” (Mel) Johnson, Marie Johnson, Barbara (Dale) Brandt, Diane Johnson, Dean (Pandora) Johnson and Nannette (Robb) Paradine; her 10 grandchildren: Bill, Amanda, Josh, Lucas, Laura, Heather, Ned, Melissa, Derek and Gabrielle; 3 great-grandchildren: Marlee, Oliver and Levi; and many other loved relatives and friends. She was much loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association for research would be greatly appreciated.
Marion will be interred at Fort Snelling beside her loving husband, David Neumann, in a private ceremony. A memorial will be held this coming spring or summer. Details will be posted on this website and in the Star Tribune.
