Larry Bowman, age 70, of Isanti died May 14, 2007 at his home. No memorial service will be held at this time.
Charles Larry Bowman was born November 28, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri and was adopted by John and Nona Bowman. He was raised and attended school in Kansas City. He was employed by Western Waterproofing Company and was transferred to their Minneapolis office in 1967. On November 12, 1969 he married Ellen Ferdon and they made their home in Blaine. Larry and Ellen moved to rural Isanti in 1977. Larry then farmed until 1986 and then he worked at Federal Cartridge. Larry was well known for his story telling and he also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He suffered from leukemia for the past 2 years.
Larry is survived by his wife, Ellen of Isanti; 5 children, John Bowman, Sheri (Ted) Gifford, Julie (Danny) Wheeler all of Kansas City, Missouri, Angela (Bob) Hille of Zimmerman and Catherine (Richard) Lemke of Princeton; by 11 grandchildren and by many friends.
