Delores “Dee” Paron, age 77, of Cambridge died July 2, 2007 at her home. A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Friday, July 6th, with a prayer service at 7 pm, at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 7th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti with Father Jose Edayadiyil as Celebrant. Gail Genin will serve as cantor and Leona Jacques as organist. Pallbearers will be Frank Hirth, Jerry Hirth, Ken Hirth, David Maros, Douglas Maros and Steven Maros. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Cemtery in Minneapolis.
Delores Lillian Paron was born June 19, 1930 in Minneapolis to Ernest and Lillian Hirth. She was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from North High School. On October 25, 1952 she married Marino Paron and they made their home in New Brighton. In 1966 Dee and Marino moved to rural North Branch where they made their home until 2000 when they moved to Pine Village in Cambridge. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. She enjoyed African Violets; growing, showing and judging them over several years at the State Fair. Dee was just recently elected president of the African Violet Society of Minnesota.
Dee is survived by her husband, Marino of Cambridge; sister, Shirley Pietilainen of Fridley; brother, Ronald (Marlene) Hirth of Fridley; sister-in- law, Marie Hirth of Brooklyn Center; by nieces, nephews and by many other relatives and friends.
