Paul Ostrom, age 83, of Cambridge passed away September 10, 2007 at Cambridge Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 15th at Cambridge Lutheran Church with Rev. David Everett officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 14th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel and also 1 hour prior to the funeral Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Paul Manfred Ostrom was born January 6, 1924 in Bradford Township, rural Cambridge, to Nels and Beda Ostrom. He was raised and lived his entire life in Bradford Township. Paul married Jacquelyn Erickson on May 5, 1962 and they made their home on Paul’s farm. He was baptized, confirmed and a life long member of Cambridge Lutheran Church. Paul especially enjoyed his family, grandchildren, and all of the family activities. He also enjoyed bowling, going to car races and tractor pulls, and enjoying his morning coffee with his friends at Herman’s Bakery.
Paul Ostrom passed away September 10, 2007 at Cambridge Medical Center at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 4 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Wigen and Linda Ostrom; and three brothers, Carl, Rongwald and Walter.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Jacquelyn of Cambridge; son, Dennis (Sandra) Ostrom of Cambridge; daughter, Michelle (Harlan) Bellin of Stacy; four grandchildren, Danielle and Michael Ostrom, Christine and Kathleen Bellin; by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Gertrude Erickson of Cambridge; and by many other relatives and friends.
