It was more than 50 years ago that Hugo and Elaine Strike began serving the needs of bereaved families. In 1965 they returned to their home town and opened the Strike Funeral Chapel and Elaine’s Flowers & Gifts in Isanti. Since then the family’s dedication to dignified service, respectful care and personal attention have earned the trust hundreds of their neighbors have placed in them over the years. In 1992, their son, Brian, joined the family business as a funeral director and became the second generation in their family to dedicate himself to serving the community in this special way. A couple of years later they were honored to extend the tradition of professional funeral services to the families and community of Cambridge by opening Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel.
