David W. Buckhouse, age 74, of Isanti passed away peacefully on May 19, 2008 at Cambridge Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27th at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, assembly area #5.
David William Buckhouse was born March 11, 1934 in Fargo, North Dakota to Albert and Angeline (Krump) Buckhouse. He was raised and attended school in Hankinson, North Dakota, graduating from high school in 1952. In 1953 David joined the U.S. Air Force, serving his country for four years followed by reserve service and work for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. On July 18, 1970 David married Dorothy Pagnac and they made their home in Blaine. In 1973 they moved to Isanti where they operated Buckhouse Nursery. David also was an over the road trucker. He loved reading and also enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife.
David is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; son, Jim (Jami) Buckhouse of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Joan (Bryan) White of Rockledge, Florida; five brothers, Leon, Lyle, Neil, Dean and Jerry; one sister, Lavonne; and my many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Angeline.
