Gloria J. Magnuson, age 60, of Isanti passed away May 20, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 23rd at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior.
Gloria Jean Magnuson was born February 10, 1948 in Braham to Charles and Darleen Schultz. She was raised in Isanti and Anoka Counties and graduated from Anoka High School, Class of 1966. On June 18, 1966 she married Curtis Magnuson. They made their home at Ham Lake until 1974 when they moved to Isanti. Gloria was employed by Thermo Serve for several years and later at the Burger Top and Creamery Café in Isanti. Besides the family activities she enjoyed sewing with her friends.
Gloria passed away on May 20, 2008 at her home in Isanti after a battle with cancer at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 10 days. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Schultz; husband, Curtis;infant son, Thomas Magnuson; 2 brothers, Kenneth and Philip Schultz; step father, Tom Richardson.
She is survived by 3 children, DeWayne Randy (Jan) Magnuson of Green Ridge, Missouri, Charlie Magnuson and Kris of Isanti, Teresa (Dean) Pfaff of Princeton; mother, Darleen Richardson of Isanti; 3 granddaughters, Victoria, Lindsey and Sunnie; 3 sisters, Barbara Brown of Anoka, Charlotte Halverson of Cambridge, Kathy (Brian) Holmstrom of Champlin; and by many other relatives and friends.
