Nina Wetjen, age 77, of Stacy passed away peacefully June 25, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, June 27th at St. John Lutheran Church in Weber with Pastor Kevin Zellers officiating. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery in North Branch.
Nina Wetjen was born March 14, 1931 at Chetek, Wisconsin to Frank and Hattie (Stanford) Davis. Raised on a farm in Chetek with 11 brothers and sisters, Nina loved family. She was married June 8, 1951 to Millen J. Wetjen. Her favorite times were spent in activities and traveling with family and friends, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader and very creative. She loved doing crafts with her children and turned this into hobbies of ceramics and beaded jewelry.
Nina Wetjen passed away peacefully June 25, 2008 at her home at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 11 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons in infancy: Craig Jonathan and Rhett Jerome; great-grandson, Brennen Rae Strand; four brothers, Niles, Roy, Curt and Harland; and two sisters, Loretta and Mae.
Nina will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Millen; son, Kevin Wetjen of Stacy; three daughters, Dawn (Steven) Strand of Casselton, North Dakota; Tamara (John) Rene’ of Stacy; and Carla (Randy) Ramberg of Roseville, two brothers, Cletis (Lois) Davis of Illinois, andEugene (Ruby) Davis of Wisconsin; three sisters, Alice Shriver of Idaho, Wanda (Jack) Glenn of New Jersey, and Linda (Bob) Szabo of Cedar Rapids: six grandchildren, Craig and Heather Strand, Jarred (Crystal) Rene’, Matthew (Mandy) Ramberg, Jake and Brandelle Ramberg: three great-grandchildren, James and Kale Strand, and Cole Rene’; and by many other relatives and friends.
