Conrad Nordenstrom, age 80, of Cambridge passed away July 14, 2008 at Grandview Christian Home.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 17th at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in East Bethel with Rev. Steve Melander officiating. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 16th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be at Isanti Union Cemetery.
Conrad Lawrence Nordenstrom was born September 11, 1927 in Evanston, Illinois to Conrad and Minnie Nordenstrom. When he was young his family moved to Grasston, Minnesota where he was raised and graduated from Braham High School. On June 8, 1957 he married Joan Carlberg. They made their first home in Minneapolis and then in 1958 they moved to rural Isanti. In 1999 they moved to RiverHills in Cambridge. Conrad was a plasterer and worked in the Twin Cities area. He was a member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons Union and St. Andrew Lutheran Church in East Bethel.
Conrad Nordenstrom of Cambridge passed away July 14, 2008 at Grandview Christian Home at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 3 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son, Michael; 1 sister, Mary Timm; and by 1 brother, Jack.
Conrad is survived by his wife, Joan of Cambridge; 3 sons, John and Monica Wienert of Blaine, Paul (Kim) of Isanti, Dale (Diane) of Inver Grove Heights; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Jared, Greta, Dana, Logan and Drake; and by many other relatives and friends.
