Dorothy June Onasch of Stacy died unexpectedly at her home on November 4, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at St. John Lutheran Church in Weber. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service on Saturday at church. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Dorothy June Onasch was born May 17, 1924 in Minneapolis to Walter and Christine Schultze. She was raised in Minneapolis and attended Marshall University High School. Dorothy was baptized, confirmed and married at University Lutheran Church of Hope. On May 23, 1952 she married Clarence Onasch of Stacy. Dorothy worked for National School Studios for 40 years. After retiring she enjoyed trips to cities around the USA with the Alumni Club. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Weber. Dorothy was especially proud of her heritage of growing up in Minneapolis but she also loved the farm in the country. She was a people person and enjoyed being around others.
Dorothy passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 4, 2009 at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 17 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and her brother, Stanley.
She is survived by nieces, Shirley (Patrick) Davis of Stacy, Mavis Onasch of Mounds View; great-nephew, Tim Davis of Bethel; great-niece, Tracy Davis of Kansas City, Missouri; special friend, Aggie Fischer of Isanti; and other relatives and friends.
