George Kozak of Princeton passed away December 21, 2009 at Fairview Hospital in Princeton. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 26th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel with Father James David Hahn officiating. A time for visiting will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
George Kozak was born February 18, 1940 in Minneapolis to John and Rose Kozak. He was raised and attended school in Minneapolis. On October 5, 1962 he married Bernice Gaslin. They made their home in Champlin for 43 years before moving to Princeton in 2008. George especially enjoyed being with and playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing.
George Kozak passed away December 21, 2009 at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 3 days. George was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers, Joe and Wally.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice of Princeton; three children, James (Geri) Kozak of Anoka, Julie Kozak of Coon Rapids, Janice (Stephen) Baker of Zimmerman; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Grace and Emily; many brothers and sisters, and by many other relatives and friends.
