Leon Roger Sjodin, age 72, of GracePointe Crossing Gables East in Cambridge died September 25, 2010 at GracePointe. A celebration of Leon’s life wife be held from 4:00-9:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 7th at the Ham Lake VFW.
Leon Roger Sjodin was born June 17, 1938 in Palmer, Alaska to Clarence and Alice (Gibelyou) Sjodin. Leon grew up in Coon Rapids and graduated from Anoka High School in 1956. He served his country in the US Navy and worked as a tool maker.
Leon is survived by four sons; Kurt (Tami) Sjodin of Cedar, Kevin (Brook) Sjodin of Isanti, Greg (Roberta) Sjodin of Excelsior, and Kraig (Heather) Sjodin of Inver Grove Heights; three brothers, Clarence (Mariliyn) Sjodin, Merlyn (Hope) Sjodin, and Roland Sjodin (Judy); one sister, Donna Keding; two grandchildren, Dalton and Cameron; brother-in-law, Tom Taylor;his dog Charlie; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Linda Taylor, and granddaughter, Elisabeth.
