Glenn Edward Stewart, age 83, of Isanti died at his home on January 8, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at our Isanti Chapel. Friends may gather 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Glenn Edward Stewart was born September 12, 1927 in Britton, South Dakota to Myrven and Jettie Stewart.When he was 14 years of age his family moved to Deer Creek, Minnesota where he finished school and graduated from Deer Creek High School. On June 30, 1950 he married Audrey George at the Park Avenue Methodist Church in Minneapolis and they made their first home in Fridley. They later moved to Brooklyn Park and then to Coon Rapids where they lived for 9 years. In 1974 they moved to Isanti. Glenn was employed as a truck driver for Ryerson Steel in Minneapolis. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Minneapolis. Glenn enjoyed the family activities, especially camping, traveling and sightseeing in their motor home with his kids.
Glenn passed away at his home on january 8, 2011 at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 26 days.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey of Isanti; 5 children, Jeffery Stewart of Isanti, Lindy (Gary) Dupuis of Zimmerman, Andy (Tatyana) Stewart of Isanti, Lisa (Tony) Swanson of Isanti, Scott (Marylouise) Stewart of Inver Grove Heights; 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Samantha, Mackenzie and Anna; 1 brother, Jack (Helen) Stewart of Arizona; and by extended family, Seiberts, Lavells and by many other relatives and friends.
