Duane Curtis Bragge was born June 17, 1938 in Princeton, Minnesota to Oscar and Ethel (Willard) Bragge. He grew up on the family dairy farm and graduated from Princeton High School in 1956. Duane then joined the US Navy and later served in the Coast Guard. While in the service he met Joyce Pedulla and on October 17, 1959 they were united in marriage in San Leandro, California. They made their home in Hayward, California for ten years before moving to Princeton. They have lived in Cambridge since 1976. Duane worked at Xerox, Bemis Manufacturing and Westling Manufacturing. He loved his family, adored his grandchildren and great granddaughter and spending time with them. Going for ice cream was a favorite! He was active and could always be found on his tractor, 4-wheeler or riding lawnmower. Almost daily he would stop by and visit neighbors, friends, family and church. He thought of Lakeside Christian Church as his second family. He made himself and his tractor useful there. He had an unshakable faith and a positive attitude. His great sense of humor spilled out on everyone, especially when sharing his jokes and funny emails.
Duane Bragge died December 21, 2011 at home at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 4 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin, and a sister, Audrey Holland.
