Ann MarieLindberg, age 77, of Cambridge died May 6, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM onSaturday, May 12that St. Philips Catholic Church in Bemidji. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, May 11th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Ann was born on February 18, 1935 at Crookston, MN to Henry and Mabel (Doyea) Schipper. She grew up near Leonard, MN and graduated high school at Clearbrook, MN. Ann married Kermit Lindberg on August 11, 1953 and resided in Fargo, ND, Park Rapids, MN, then lived in Monticello, MN for 23 years before moving to Maple Grove, MN and for the past year at Cambridge, MN.
Mrs. Lindberg worked for 18 years as a medical technologist at Monticello-Big Lake Community Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, cooking for family and friends, casino games, music and dancing.
Ann Marie (Schipper) Lindberg died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN following a determined fight against cancer at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 18 days. Ann Lindberg was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kermit; sisters, Jeanette and Mildred; brothers, Robert and Richard; and two infant brothers.
She is survived by children, Gary (Joyce) of Flemingsburg, KY, Steven (Teresa) of Brook Park, MN, Danny (Cathy) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Julie (Greg) Wheeler of North Chicago, IL, and Renae (Craig) Hammond of Stanchfield, MN; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.
