Daniel Weiss, age 68, of Isanti died September 27, 2012 at home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Isanti Community Center. Private family graveside services were held at Isanti Union Cemetery.
Daniel Henry Weiss was born on October 6, 1943 in Minneapolis to Paul and Florence (Meyers) Weiss. The family moved to Isanti in 1972. Daniel made his home with his mom and dad. Although he never married he loved all the nieces, nephews and grandchildren of his brothers and sister. Dan enjoyed collecting John Deere items. If it was J.D. it was the best. He also enjoyed sitting at Rendezvous Coffee Shop in Isanti sitting for many hours talking to the people coming and going and also with the staff. Dan worked as a canvas sewer until he retired and he then had a business at home. He liked going to his brother’s shop and working with him and just visiting. He loved his dogs and Rose his St. Bernard went with him on his final journey.
Daniel died unexpectedly at his home on September 27, 2012 at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 21 days. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by 2 brothers, William Weiss, Paul (Eleanor) Weiss; 1 sister, Chris (John) Harshberger; nieces, nephews and many many friends.
