Kermit R. Dahlman, age 76, of Ham Lake died November 7, 2014 at home. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in East Bethel with a visitatioin 1 hour before the service on Friday. There will also be a visitation from 5 – 8 P.M. on Thursday AT THE CHURCH.
Kermit Reinhold Dahlman was born September 26, 1938, in Minneapolis to C. Reinhold (Ray) and Evelyn (Johnson) Dahlman. He grew up in Soderville and graduated from Anoka High School. During his teen summers and later he helped his cousin, Bud Anderson, farm the land where this church now stands and putting up hay with his Buchholz cousins.
Kermit enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, tractor pulls, old tractors and old trucks. He was employed as a truck driver most of his working years and was a retired Teamster, Local 221.
Kermit died November 7, 2014 at home at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 12 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and his significant other for 25 years, Ida Kutzer, and step-grandsons, Josh and Jhase Vickstrom.
He is survived by his children, Terrie (Joe) Hyland of Tulsa OK, Kent (Christine) Dahlman of East Bethel and Natalie Parker of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Adam Dahlman, Jessie Dahlman, Jolene (Zack) Peek, Kole Dahlman, Sabra (Mike) Neuss and Sydney Parker; great-grandchildren, Alexis Park, Dylan and Grace Dahlman, Lucas Peek, Gage Dahlman and Aria Neuss; sister, Karen (Ron) Wade; step-children, Bruce (Evon) Kutzer, Mark (Kathy) Kutzer, Lori (Jerry) Vickstrom, Darnelle Kutzer; 7 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; and by many relatives and friends.
