Rodney Neumann, age 65, died December 6, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Military honors will be held at the Onalaska American Legion, Onalaska, Wisconsin on Sunday, December 14th at 1pm with a Celebration of Life to follow.
Rodney Charles Neumann was born April 9, 1949 in Sparta, Wisconsin, to Robert and Joyce (Markee) Neumann. He graduated from Onalaska High School in Onalaska, Wisconsin in 1967. Rodney entered the Army and served as a Special Forces Green Beret. After his military service he lived in the Mindoro, Wisconsin area. He later moved to Bangor, Wisconsin and then to Glen Flora, Wisconsin. Rodney worked at Milestone Materials for 19 years in Holmen, Wisconsin until his retirement in 2012. His interests included hunting, fishing and being in nature. He was a Green Bay Packer Cheesehead as well as a Milwaukee Brewer fan.
Rodney passed away on December 6, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota at the age of 65. He is survived by his 4 children, Jennifer Neumann of Bangor, Wisconsin, Benjamin (Michele) Neumann of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Lisa Neumann of Isanti, Minnesota, Christopher Neumann of Indianapolis, Indiana; 2 grandchildren, Spencer and Alexandra Diderrich; brother, William Neumann; 3 sisters, Anita Neumann, Cheryl Wagner and Kathy Killberger; and by many other relatives and friends.
