Max Strelow, age 35, of Oak Grove died peacefully in his sleep September 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 19th at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 16345 Polk St NE, Ham Lake. Visitation one hour prior to the service Saturday at church. Visitation also 4-8 P.M. Friday, September 18th ALSO AT THE CHURCH. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Gillette Children’s Hospital.
Maximillian Charles Strelow was born March 28, 1980, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Sturge-Weber Syndrome required that Max be cared for at home by his loving parents, who were devoted caretakers. He loved school and graduated from Blaine High School in 1998. He enjoyed music, movies, socializing, and his constant companions–a Boston Terrier and Italian Greyhound. Max was a joyous presence and a gifted teacher to those that knew him.
Monday, September 14, 2015, at the age 35, he died peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by parents, Tom and Mary Strelow; sister, Mary Wlodarski (Sebastian); brother, Briggs Strelow (Paul Pfenning); many loved ones, family, and friends.
