Timothy Schroeder, age 60, of Milaca passed away surrounded by his family on January 28, 2016 at Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton after a brief battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, February 12th at Ham Lake VFW – 1438 Crosstown Blvd NE.
Timothy Charles Schroeder was born in Minneapolis on June 11, 1955 to Ralph and Jacquelin (Aask) Schroeder. Tim grew up in Blaine and Anoka. He graduated from Anoka High School in 1973 and worked at Anoka Auto Parts, Metro Refuse and Monarch. Eventually he became an owner operator truck driver for Twin Express. He also had a great love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Tim is survived by his wife, Wen (Ding) Schroeder; two sons, Adam (Telise) Schroeder of Stacy and Nicholas (Tracy Matthew) Gottwaldt of Blaine; his mother,Jacquelin Schroeder of Anoka; two sisters, Theresa (Dan) Wida of East Bethel and Diane (Jude Pare’) Tix of Pelican Rapids; brother, Thomas Schroeder of Bloomington; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Schroeder.
