Emma Jane Dwinells, age 84, of Isanti and formerly of Spring Lake Park, died peacefully June 3, 2016 at Prairie Senior Cottages in Isanti. An informal visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Noon, with a luncheon to follow, Wednesday, June 8th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. Interment will be in Morningside Memorial Gardens.
Emma Jane Dwinells was born April 10, 1932 in Brainerd to Benjamin and Alice (Crawford) Moone. She was raised and attended school I Brainerd. On June 10, 1950 she married Dallas Dwinells and they made their home in the Brainerd/Pillager area and later in International Falls. They then made their home in the Twin Cities area. Emma moved to Prairie Senior Cottages in Isanti five years ago. Her hobbies and interests included crocheting, embroidering, fishing and she always went out for a walk. She loved to sit outside and have coffee in the morning with her husband.
Emma passed away at Prairie Senior Cottages in Isanti on June 3, 2016 at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 21 days.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dallas. She is survived by three children, Janet (Fred) Jergenson of North St. Paul, Curtis Dwinells of Harris, David (Pamela) Henkel of East Bethel; 5 grandchildren and by 4 great-grandchildren.
