Roger G. Bakk, age 82, of Cambridge died April 29, 2017 at GracePointe Crossing Gables East. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 5th at Cedar United Methodist Church, 17541 Jefferson Street NE, Ham Lake. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Nowthen.
Roger Gunnar Bakk was born June 28, 1934 in Chisholm, Minnesota to Gunnar and Martha (Olson) Bakk. He attended country school in Cook and graduated from Cook High School in 1952. Roger served his country in the US Army from 1954 – 1956. On November 14, 1969 Roger married Beverly Steinke. Roger worked as a carpenter and then the last 15 years of his working career he was employed at Hoffman Engineering in Anoka. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Roger was a social person and loved visiting with people. He was long time member of Cedar United Methodist Church.
Roger passed away April 29, 2017 at GracePointe Crossing Gables East in Cambridge at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 1 day. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly, children, step-children, grandchildren, one sister and many other relatives and friends.
