Clarice was born in Bradford Township to Andrew and Elvira Linder on May 19, 1927. She attended various schools through the 8th grade. She began working at Ma Engstroms Restaurant where she met the love of her life, Arvid Peterson. They married February 21, 1946 and enjoyed 66 years together. Clarice stayed at home as they began their family and they were blessed with 7 children, 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
In her younger years, Clarice enjoyed riding snowmobile with her husband, friends and family. Clarice and Arvid, along with their family, spent many summers making treasured memories on Lake Pickerel in Effie, MN.
Clarice loved to cook and her family will attest to the fact that she was a wizard in the kitchen. She also enjoyed being the chief cook at deer camp for many years. Clarice loved spending time with her family and friends. If you ever stopped at the Peterson house unexpectedly you never knew it. Clarice would welcome you to sit at her table and as if by magic, a feast for your taste buds would appear before your eyes.
Clarice always remembered the birthdays and anniversaries of her family and loved ones. She faithfully sent cards for each of these occasions.
In her later years, she looked forward to her weekly visits with her sister Verna on Tuesdays and on Thursdays with her sister and brother in law, Tom and Eleanor. Clarice left an abundance of wonderful memories and we will greatly miss her.
