Milton L. Kleven, age 91, of Isanti died July 13, 2018 at Ecumen of North Branch. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 18th at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. There will also be a visitation from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 17th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti.

Milton Lester Kleven was born March 26, 1927 in Coin, Minnesota to Sigurd and Jennie (Mattson) Kleven. He was raised in the Coin community and attended school in Ogilvie and then in Mora. Milton joined the Navy when he was 17 years old and served in World War II with the SeaBees. He married Doris Holm on October 23, 1948 and they made their home in Minneapolis. Milton was recalled into the Navy and served during the Korean War. He was employed by Minneapolis Water Works for 25 years and retired in 1990. They moved to Isanti on July 1, 2001.He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti and the Isanti VFW Post. He was also a member of the American Legion. Milton loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, going to the lake cabin and also working on cars.
Milton died on July 13, 2018 at the age of 91 at Ecuman of North Branch. He is survived by his wife Doris; 2 sons, Michael (Mary) Kleven, Gary Kleven; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lyle Kleven, Earl (Charlene) Kleven; and by many other relatives and friends.
