Arlen Everett Gelle was born December 1, 1933 in Dayton, Minnesota to Eugene and Frieda (Froehlich) Gelle. On May 7, 1955, Arlen and Dolores were united in marriage, and had 3 children, Richard, Candace and Michelle. Arlen and Dolores loved being “Snowbirds” and spent many years traveling to Tuscan, AZ to enjoy the Arizona sunshine during the winter months. Arlen enjoyed fishing and you could often find him on the dock dropping a line to catch Sunfish during the early mornings when they lived on Long Lake in Isanti. Arlen found he loved to paint pictures during the last 10 years and has left us with many to enjoy. Arlen had a green thumb, he loved growing vegetables, he would plant and tend to the garden when he lived at Meadows on Fairview and also at Candy and Doug’s home whenever he had the chance.
Arlen was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Frieda (Froehlich) Gelle, Wife, Dolores Gelle and younger brother Cedric Gelle.
