Natalie C. Lee, age 84, of Maple Grove and formerly of New Hope and Anoka, died unexpectedly October 8, 2021 at home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 14th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in Long Lake Community Cemetery.
Natalie Clara Lee was born April 7, 1937 in Anoka, Minnesota to Herman and Hedwig “Hattie” (Breun) Zenz. She attended St. Stephen’s Catholic grade school in Anoka and Catholic Boarding School in St. Francis. She worked as an administrative assistant for a time for AIG New Hampshire Insurance Co. On August 25, 1962 she married Gerald Lee. They lived in New Jersey until 1970 when they moved to New Hope. They later moved to Maple Grove where they lived the rest of their lives.
Natalie was an avid Bridge player and she also enjoyed watching birds, working crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and spending time at the lake. She was a good cook and made the best potato salad. She loved being with people and visiting with family and friends.
Natalie passed away unexpectedly October 8, 2021 at home at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 1 day. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and siblings, Jerome Zenz and Johann Ward. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Jeff Lee, and Kevin (Grace) Lee; three grandchildren, Annika, Erika and Celina; sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends.
