Roger David Pederson, age 73, of East Bethel, died January 3, 2022 at home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 10th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery at Camp Ripley, Little Falls.

Roger David Pederson was born November 23, 1948 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Charles and Ingrid (Anderson) Pederson. He was raised in the East side of St. Paul and graduated from Harding High School. Roger then served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. In 1979 he met Lu Ann Johnson at their shared place of work. On November 23, 1979 they were married on the state seal in St. Louis, Missouri.
Roger worked as a Quality Technician in the electronics field. He also loved playing with any new technology or electronic gadgets. He loved music, especially The Beatles. He also enjoyed playing his bass guitar. Roger was also an excellent cook and really enjoyed grilling outside.
Roger passed away on January 3, 2022 in his home at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Roy Pederson.
Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Lu Ann; daughters, Ruth (James) Knigge, Rita Tillman, and Rose White; Step-son, Chuck Visger (Jessica); brother, Ron (Lynette) Pederson; grandchildren, Allen Tillman, Tyler and Elizabeth Knigge, Cassidy Anderson and Mara Visger; great-grandchildren, Juliette and Selena; and by many other relatives and friends.
