Harold “Hal” Jameson, age 85, of Cambridge died September 8, 2023 at home. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 21st at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cambridge. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Strike Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Isanti VFW. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Christ the King Catholic Church.
Harold “Hal” Jameson, 85, died peacefully at home on September 8, 2023 with his loving wife Marcia by his side. He was born on January 1, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri to Harold and Hattie Jameson. After completing high school at De La Salle Military Academy, Hal joined the Air Force from which he was honorably discharged on August 13, 1962.
An avid outdoorsman, Hal especially loved fishing, whether bobber or fly fishing. He also loved hunting of all kinds. He enjoyed camping in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and at the coast of Oregon. He traveled extensively for both work and pleasure.
Hal is survived by Marcia, his wife of 40 years; his children, Carol (Mike) Schlosser and Mark (Chris) Jameson; his stepchildren, Jeff (Lisa) Davis and Jennifer (Dean) Kleven; and his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hal will be remembered for being outgoing and friendly, a person everyone liked. He was a wonderful man who will be forever missed.
