Ronald “Ron” Wayne Gallati was born on February 25, 1938 in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Ogilvie HS and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. In 1976, Ron moved to the Twin Cities to pursue his Boiler Inspector License. In 1980 moved to Coon Lake, MN where Ron remodeled the home into a beautiful dream home. He was proud of the place on the lake and hosted many family gatherings, giving pontoon rides, growing beautiful gardens, and working in his wood shop. His last move was last year to Hugo, MN where he resided at the time of his passing.
Ron will be best remembered for his faith in God and in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He and his wife, Charlotte, are members of Twin Cities Grace Church where they were involved in biblical study and fellowship. The equally yoked couple is beyond appreciative for their church family and the leadership and kindness of Pastor Josh and his wife, Michelle.
He will also be remembered for always offering help and assistance to friends, family and the community. He was a frequent fixer of things: cars, homes, machines and often the human heart.
Ron entered the presence of the Lord on April 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents, Lorne and Bertha; brothers, Lorne Jr. and Roger; and son, Duane.
He is survived by his current wife, Charlotte and her children, Kimberly (Miles), Amy (Dan) and grandchildren, Cora, Davin, Miles Jr. and Anna. His second wife, Jean and her children. His first wife, Gloria and their children, Cindy (Steve) Bouma, and son, Gerald (Laura) Gallati and grandchildren, Zachary (Erin) Bouma, Nathan Bouma, Alyssa (Scott) Anderson, Courtney (Josh) Hart and Hannah Gallati; great grandchildren, Maggie, Calvin, Dorothy, Nick, River Rose; brothers, Steve (Charlotte), Kevin (Diane), Marvin (Larrita), and sister, Evelyn (David) Wentworth; by nieces, nephews, neighbors, and many who called him friend and brother in Christ.
