Robert Crass, age 95, of East Bethel died July 25, 2024 at J.A. Wedum Hospice in Brooklyn Park. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 31st at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery.
Robert Leith Crass was born January 26, 1929, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Leith and Viola (Flora) Crass. He grew up and attended school in Minneapolis. Bob then served in the U.S. Army for five years and was discharged in 1953. On May 24, 1969, he married Delores “Dee” Ruzich and they made their home in Minneapolis. Bob worked as an equipment operator for Minnegasco for many years. Upon retirement Bob and Dee moved to Bone Lake near Luck, Wisconsin and created many lasting memories. In 1998 they moved to East Bethel and they attended church at Faith Lutheran in Isanti. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and anything else outside. He also loved to play cribbage and tinker in his garage. He could fix anything.
Bob passed away July 25, 2024, at J.A. Wedum Hospice in Brooklyn Park at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 30 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dee, and two siblings.
He is survived by daughters, Debra (Kyle) Petersen, Cathy (Michael) Rickard; sons, David (Debbie) LaFlamme, Michael LaFlamme; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends.
