
Georgia “Jo” Lundy, age 71, of Isanti died October 14, 2024 at home. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, October 18th at Access Church in North Branch with a visiting time one hour prior at church.
Georgia “Jo” Ann Lundy was born July 13, 1953 in Oceanside, California to Charlie and Kathleen (Poitra) Gourneau. As a young girl they moved to Minneapolis where she grew up. She was a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa in Belcourt, North Dakota.
Despite her disability she was a hard worker holding several jobs including working for State Services for the Blind where she did assembly line work and later in life had her own vending business, GL Vending.
Jo had a smile that was contagious and had a heart of gold that shined bright. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed a nice hot cup of coffee, going shopping, listening to audio books, traveling, road trips, going on cruises (favorite). She was an amazing cook, had a phenomenal memory with directions and great with math in her head. She also loved spending time with all the dogs she had over her lifetime.
Jo was surround by family when she went to be with our lord, Jesus Christ at home on October 14, 2024 at the age of 71. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marlon and Christopher Gourneau, and son, Daniel Goedderz.
Jo is survived by her children, Deanna (Mark) Voss, Rachel (Jeremy) Welfring and Asa Morral; grandchildren, Jory, Jake, Kacey, Amanda (Belmir), Madeline (Paul), Hayden, Alexis (Riley), Courtney, Joshua, Sorei, Sorena, Moriah and Fox; great-grandchildren Samir, Izabela, Adley, Kinley, Oakley, and Layla.
