Carol F. Eder, 82 year old resident of Cedar, MN passed away February 3, 2025 at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Carol was born on May 14, 1942 in Wabasso, MN to Charles and Mildred Smith. She graduated from Wabasso High School with the class of 1960. She was united in marriage to Donald Eder on December 12, 1975 in Watertown, South Dakota. The couple made their home in Cedar. Carol enjoyed painting crafts, flower gardening, and feeding the birds. She cherished her time going out to lunch with friends. Carol will be remembered for her laughter while having phone conversations or visiting with family and friends.
Carol is survived by her children, Michelle, Robert (Denise), Kenneth, Teresa (Chris); grandchildren, Angela, Alex, Amanda, Jacob, Baylee, Lane, Rylee, Zachary, Jesse, Kirsten; great-grandchildren, Kira, Caiden, Harrison, Mylah; siblings, Sonny, Karen, and Jeanie.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchildren, Nathan, Elizabeth; and sister, Alice.
My heart sinks knowing Carol is no longer among us. I had so much respect for her. She was one of the greatest women I have ever known. She is missed, but never forgotten.
