Kenneth Johanson, age 91, of Cambridge died March 24, 2025 at home. No services will be held at this time. Burial will be in the future at Isanti Union Cemetery.
Kenneth M. Johanson was born August 26, 1933 in Isanti, Minnesota to Oscar and Ruby (Pitchford) Johanson. He grew up and attended school in Isanti. On October 18, 1958 he married Josephine “Jo” Meisel at St. Matthew Catholic Church in St. Paul. They raised their family in St. Paul and the metro suburbs. Kenneth was a “Jack of All Trades and Master of None”. He worked hard in many different occupations over the years. In 2023 they moved to Mill Ridge Terrace in Cambridge. Kenneth loved going to the casino and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Jo; children, Sandy (Bryan) Larson, Robert (Jeannie) Johanson and Gail Smith; sister, Jean (Dave) Swanson; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorraine Johanson; and siblings, Dorothy Ellingson (Dean), Lorraine Johanson, and June Chilman (Walton).
Rest Easy Ken. It was a pleasure getting to know you over these last 15 years. Your great grandchildren (Mylah/Zane) will forever love and miss you! God bless 🙏✝️
