
A celebration of life for Robin and David will be from Noon to 3 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge. David and Robin were not formal so please dress comfortably. We will be wearing blue jeans in honor of Dave and the color blue in honor of Robin.

Robin Dee Day was born December 20, 1959 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota to Robert and Delores (Sorenson) Kreft. She graduated from Armstrong High School in 1978. On September 9, 1989 Robin married David Day in Golden Valley. She worked for Honeywell for many years doing a variety of jobs. Robin loved gardening, horses and especially time with her family.
Robin passed away April 18, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 29 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Scott.
She will be lovingly remembered by daughter, Angela (Corey) Moredock; step-children, Donn (Jeanne) Day and Kristy (Brian) Lintz; brother, Mike Kreft; sister, Sandy (Richard) Reinking; granddaughter, Hailey Moredock; step-grandchildren, Natalie Day, and Rylee and Jack Lintz; and by many other relatives and friends.

David A. Day was born July 2, 1951 in Minneapolis, son of the late, Herman and Anna (Borske) Day. He graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1969. He married Karen Day on April 29, 1972. They had two children Donn and Kristy. David married the love of his life, Robin Kreft on September 9, 1989 who brought with her another daughter, Angela. David and Robin spent the remaining years together enjoying life with one another until her death on April 18, 2025. David’s already weakened heart could not handle the burdens of life without her.
David worked at Phillips 66, and Electric Machinery, before beginning his career as a Millwright for Honeywell until his retirement. David’s hobbies included hunting and fishing, but Hot Rods were his favorite. An active member in the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association and the Minnesota Street Rod Association. He loved to be a part of the “Back to the Fifties” each year and display Old Red, his 1950 Ford. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends telling stories and playing cribbage.
David passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2025 at his home at the age of 73 years. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Day.
He is survived by his children, Donn (Jeanne) Day of Albert Lea, MN; Kristy (Brian) Lintz of Hermosa, SD; and Angela (Corey) Moredock, Cambridge, MN; grandchildren, Natalie Day, Rylee and Jack Lintz, and Hailey Moredock; mother of his children, Karen Day; niece, nephews, cousins and extended family too many to mention.
Dave was a hard worker. He loved spending time in Wisconsin hunting , fishing and spending time with his cousins. He will be greatly missed.
