Cheryl Ann Peterson, age 74 of Isanti, passed away May 14, 2025 at home. A memorial gathering will be held from 1 – 4 PM on Saturday, May 31st at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti, followed by burial at Isanti Union Cemetery.
Cheryl Ann Peterson was born April 3, 1951 in Braham, Minnesota to Wilbur and Marjorie (Marose) Oker. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1969. On August 9, 1969 she married Gilbert C. Peterson and they were blessed with a daughter, Melissa. Cheryl worked at Blue Fox Tackle in Cambridge and Isanti Packaging. She loved going to garage sales, camping on Rush Lake and she really enjoyed watching the flowering crab tree bloom through her window. She also loved birds, especially hummingbirds. Cheryl will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Cheryl passed away May 14, 2025 unexpectedly at home at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 11 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Marjorie Oker; husband, Gilbert; sister, Debbie Lindberg; brothers, David Oker and Dennis Oker; sister-in-law, Becky Oker and her beloved dog, Harley.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melissa Peterson; brother, Larry Oker; brother-in-law, John Lindberg; nephews, John (Joey) Lindberg, Jr. and Chad Lindberg (Deanna Roepke); niece, Wendy Lindberg; many great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
