Edward D. Woltman 88 year old resident of Isanti, MN passed away May 20, 2025 at his home. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Friday, May 30, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church are preferred.
Edward was born on March 27, 1937 to John and Anna Woltman. He was raised in Little Falls, MN. Edward was a 6 year member of the Minnesota Army National Guard, serving as a medic. He was parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Garrison, MN where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. After moving to Isanti, he became an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth Seton Ann Catholic Church. Edward enjoyed riding his bicycle, hunting, fishing, and anything to do with nature and animals. He will be remembered for his love of collecting rocks.
Edward is survived by his children, Bonnie (Terry) Stein, Jeff (Brenda) Woltman, Sue (Greg Varness) Gunder, Tim (Bonnie) Woltman; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Tanner.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Louis Waltman, Joseph Woltman, and Polly Lashinski.
