“The only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it is possible.”
We met Kayla, through our son, Kris. She had an infectious laugh and a good soul.
I remember the 1st time we met her, my sides hurt, by the end of the night, because we had so much fun and laughed so much.
We cared for her like she was the daughter we never had. She will be missed!
Kayla was a wonderful, funny and loving friend who had spent the last 2 yrs. of her life with Kris Mitchell. They made a lot of great memories together as well as with our Mitchell clan during Holidays & vacation in Hoyt Lakes, ect.; She will be missed by all the people & lives she touched.
FLY HIGH SWEET KAYLA.
My name is Destaye Crawford.
When I think of Kayla, I think of love and previous soul walking among human beings.
I looooove her so much and can not believe that she is gone!
As Kayla’s paternal grandparents, we have many special memories of vacations and other special times. Together we saw Lake Superior in Minnesota and Canada, the Black Hills area, Colorado mountains, St. Louis, several trips to Airventure in Oshkosh, many camping trips and visits to her great grandparents’ lake home. Her sense of adventure took her on many roller coaster rides at Valleyfair and climbing mountains with Grandpa and Adam. Though recent years brought estrangement, Kayla recently reached out for a nice phone visit, with desire to meet in person. God had other plans and I know she is in the loving arms of Grandma Sandy, who has been waiting for her. Adam was always her best friend and our prayers are with him and Amanda. Kayla will always have a special place in our hearts.
My name is Jeff. Kayla and I worked together as forklift operator’s. I gave her rides to work and then home. We did a lot together. We were friends to the end. I will always miss Her. Love you little buddy.
