
Coralie S. Ritchie, 98 year old resident of Cambridge, MN, formerly of St. Paul, MN passed away quietly, with family present, on December 9, 2025 at GracePointe Crossing. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls at a later date.
Coralie was born on September 20, 1927 in Fairfax, MN to John and Selma Sater, with her older twin brother, Corlyss Odell Sater. She grew up in Springfield, MN and was 1 of 14 children. Coralie graduated from Springfield High School with the class of 1945, shortly after she moved to Minneapolis, MN. She lived there with her sister, Phyllis (Dave) Wurtz, until she found a place of her own. She was employed at Dayton’s Department Store. Coralie met her husband, Andrew Ritchie thru her twin brother, who was on the same US Navy ship. The couple was united in marriage. They resided in St. Paul, West St. Paul, Brainerd, then Baxter. Coralie worked as an aide in the St. Paul school system until her retirement in 1979. Upon retirement, the couple wintered in Mesa, AZ and on Lower South Long Lake near Brainerd in the warmer months. After selling the lake place, they moved to Baxter. She loved to garden, cook, sing, and do crafts. In February of 2011, Andy passed away and she moved to an apartment at the Presbyterian Homes Waverly Gardens located in the Hugo/Centerville area. In her final years she resided at Presbyterian Home of Grace Pointe Crossing in Cambridge.
Coralie is survived by her children, Richard (Diane) Ritchie, Roger (Mary) Ritchie, Debra (Robert) Davies; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Boelter, Marylyn (Kenny) Griffith, Darla (Pete) Peterson, Ruth Ann (Jim) Barge; brother-in-law, Ronald (Judy) Ritchie; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenneth Ritchie; brothers, Vernon Sater, Robert Sater, Corlyss Sater, Jack Sater, Richard Sater; sisters, June Hodges, Phyllis Wurtz, Sandy Franck, Leatrice Hunt; grandchildren, Jennifer Ritchie, Nathan Ritchie; and great-grandson, Aiden Ritchie.
