Arlene Kay Andersen, age 83, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital on January 25, 2026, following an illness. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arlene was born on February 23, 1942, in Ellsworth, Kansas. Arlene spent many years living in Albuquerque, New Mexico before she moved to Isanti, Minnesota in 2009, a place she proudly called home for the remainder of her life.

She cherished every moment spent with her daughter, granddaughters, and especially her great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her.
Those who knew Arlene will remember that she could be a stubborn woman at times — but that stubbornness was rooted in strength, independence, and a deep love for the people she cared about.
Arlene was a proud great-grandmother, Whose love for her family was steady, unconditional, and deeply felt. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home to those around her, and her legacy lives on through the generations she loved so dearly.
Arlene is survived by her sisters, Barb (Alan) Barta and Betty Hoopes; her daughter, Jennifer Anderson; grandchildren, Angela Anderson (Joseph R), Jazzmin (Devin) Buffalo and Eric Larson; her beloved great-grandsons; Jayce, Haiden, Robert, Michael, and Devin Jr.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sylvia; her sister, Mildred; and her beloved dog, Chelsea, who brought her years of companionship and comfort.
