Iris E. Williams, age 94, of Stacy passed away February 3, 2026 at Rosewood Senior Living in Cambridge. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 9th at Country Roads Baptist Church in Stacy. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Atena Cemetery.
Iris Ethlyn Williams was born July 29, 1931 in Browerville, MN to Robert and Esther Bentz. She attended school in Browerville through 6th grade, then moved and attended school in Lomita, CA. The family moved back to Browerville, where she graduated in 1948.
On September 2, 1950, she married Richard Williams in Browerville, where they lived before moving to Minneapolis. She had various jobs before and during her marriage. Then in 1968, they moved to Stacy, MN, where they farmed. Iris enjoyed crafts, gardening and baking. She also enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.
Iris passed away February 3, 2026 at Rosewood Senior Living in Cambridge at the age of 94. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick); son, Lawrence Williams; sisters, Dorothy Sadlo, Marlys Hall, Betty Bergesch and brother, Robert Bentz.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Roger Williams of Stacy; daughter, Patty Copley of LaHonda, CA; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Travis, Derek, Darci, Shauna, Angie, Greg; seventeen great-grandchildren, Willow, James, Dante, Savanah, Elle, Quinn, Wren, Kaelee, Louella, Larry, Koby, Braedon, Josh, Max, Sam, Jack, Jason; brother, Gerald Bentz; and many other relatives and friends.
