Michael McFarlane says
I didn’t know Grandma all that well.. But family is family. I remember Going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Braham. We never talked much, but we always brought Kentucky Chicken as Grandma called it. There are so many things I wish I had asked her and Grandpa, but that’s just what happens. You realize it all just a little too late. I love both of them to death and can’t wait to meat them again on the other side. Alice was a wonderful, caring, compassionate woman who raised two amazing sons. I’m proud to call Russell McFarlane my dad and equally as proud to call Roger McFarlane my uncle. She lived a wonderful, meaningful, and complete life. Even though none of us really got to talk to her towards the end, it was obvious that she knew who Russ and Rog were. She hung on just long enough to say goodbye to me and dad. It’s 5 years later, but it’s true that you dont know what you have until it’s gone. See ya soon Grandma
