Pamela Libby, age 65, of North Branch passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina from complications of diabetes. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 2nd in Sunrise Hall Chapel at the Villages of North Branch. Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association or the Villiages of North Branch.
She was born Pamela Arnold Moore in Bridgeport, CT on January 20, 1943 to Dorothy M. and James B. Moore. She grew up in Antrim, NH and graduated from high school there. Pam lived in Laconia, NH for 25 years where she enjoyed participating in events at Cornerstone. In 1997, she moved to Duluth, MN to be near her family. She lived at Midtowne Manor II and later at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center. In 2005, she moved to North Branch, where she was a resident at the time of her death.
Despite many years of health challenges, Pam was a happy person and enjoyed life and people. She was well known to those around her for the beautiful handcrafts she created. While in Duluth, she won an award for her embroidery at the St. Louis County Fair.
Pamela is survived by her father, James B. Moore of Cambridge, MN, her brother, David B. Moore (Brenda) of North Branch, a birth daughter, Melinda Goodrich of Haverhill, MA, a niece and two nephews.
