Thomas Donahue, age 47ofCambridge passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Golden Valley Rehabilitation and Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 20th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Jim McChesney officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 19th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. Interment will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
Thomas Jay Donahue was born May 7, 1960 in Elyria, Ohio to Jim and Marion Donahue. When he was a year-and-a-half- years old the family moved to Cedar, Minnesota. They later moved to Spring Lake Park where Tom attended elementary school. The family then moved to rural Isanti and Tom attended the Cambridge-Isanti schools. Besides loving and visiting family and friends he enjoyed the outdoors, working with gem stones and rock hunting for agates, enjoying the birds, animals, flying squirrels, trains and steam engines.
Tom passed away on February 17, 2008 at the Golden Valley Rehabilitation and Care Center at the age of 47 years, 9 months and 10 days. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Marion Donahue of Cambridge; his sister, Patty Hill of Cambridge and fiancé Craig Flanagan of North Branch; nephew, Steven Hill and niece, Becky Hill of Cambridge; and by other relatives and many friends.
