Maxine Ritzschke, age 80, of Cambridge passed away October 18, 2008 at GracePointe Crossing East, formerly Cambridge Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 22nd at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 21st at our Isanti Chapel.There is also a visitation 1 hourprior to the service Wednesday. Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery.
Maxine Edith Ritzschke was born December 21, 1927 in Anoka to Virgil and Effie Noon. She was raised and lived her early years in Anoka County. Maxine married Herb Knutson and later Kenneth Ritzschke. She lived in Columbia Heights for several years and also had a trailer on Long Lake in rural Isanti. Maxine then lived in Arizona for 20 years until moving back to Isanti 5 years ago. She had been a resident of Cambridge Health Care Center for the past 2 years. Her hobbies included going to garage sales and flea markets.
Maxine passed away on October 18, 2008 at Grace Pointe Crossing East, Cambridge Health Care Center, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 27 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Mullen; two brothers, Donald and Robert Noon; and by one sister, Shirley Brellenthin.
Maxine is survived by her son, Herbert W. (Sheri) Knutson of Isanti; by two daughters, Judy Devereaux of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Barbara Knutson of Isanti; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Virgil (Shirley) Noon of Mounds View; and by many other relatives and friends.
