Glen Roeder, age 67, of Isanti passed away November 13, 2008 accidently. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 17th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Tiffany McDonald officiating. Visitation will be held 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at our Isanti Chapel as well as1 hour prior to the service.
Glen Henry Roeder was born May 15, 1941 in Minneapolis to Henry and Margaret Roeder. He was raised in Stanford Township, rural Isanti. Glen graduated from St. Francis High School, Class of 1959. On August 3, 1963 he married Jeanette Herrboldt and they made their home in rural Isanti. Glen served in the Army from 1966 1968 and served in Vietnam. After the service they continued to live in Isanti. Glen was employed by Federal Cartridge for 40 years and retired in 2003. He was a member of the St. Francis American Legion. Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved the outdoors. He died accidentally doing what he loved. Glen was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
Glenn passed away accidentally while deer hunting at his home on November 13, 2008 at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 28 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret; an infant brother, Dennis; and by his step-mother, Evelyn. Glenn is survived by his wife, Jeanette; son Mark (Jeanne) Roeder and his grandson, Hunter of Isanti; and by many friends.
The interment service will follow at the Stanford Cemetery.
Following the graveside service a lunch will be served at the St. Francis American Legion.
