Lois Chapel, age 66, of East Bethel passed away November 9, 2008 at Mercy Hosptial in Coon Rapids. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM onThursday, November 13th at Our Savoiur’s Lutheran Church in East Bethel.
Lois Eileen Chapel was born September 12, 1942 in Grandy to Lorain and Margaret Lindquist. She was raised in Grasston and graduated from Braham High School, Class of 1960. Lois married John Chapel on January 13, 1962 and they made their home in East Bethel for most of their married years. Lois was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in East Bethel for 43 years. She was a woman of compassion filled with kindness and a gentle spirit. Lois loved spending time with her family cooking Sunday and Holiday dinners and hosted many birthday celebrations. She also enjoyed traveling, where many new cookbooks found their way home, and of course she loved to shop. Lois will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lorain Lindquist. Lois is survived by her beloved husband, John; daughters, Christy (Mark) Robbie, Cheri (Mike) Friedrich; 2 grandchildren, Annie and Jack; mother, Margaret Lindquist; sister, Sharon (Darryl) Voss; brothers, Robert (Judy) Lindquist, Vernon (Jan) Lindquist; and many other family and friends.

She was SO special in all that she did be it a game of scrabble, talking, having a cup of coffee just to name a few things. She will always be in our heart with all the memory we made together.
