Susan A. Jenson, age 65, of Pine Citypassed awayNovember 30, 2008 at North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel with Pastor Howard Skulstad officiating. A time for visiting will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Littlefork Cemetery.
Susan Ann Jenson was born May 15, 1943 at Colorado Springs, Colorado to Elmer and Mildred (Olson) Oveson. She was raised in Ranier, Minnesota. On December 16, 1960 Susan was united in marriage to Loren Jenson and they made their home in Littlefork, Minnesota. Susan and Loren operated a small farm in Littlefork and those times were some of Susan’s happiest of her life. She really enjoyed the farm. In 1984 they moved to Columbia Heights where they lived for ten years before moving to Pine City.
Susan worked as an optician at Vision World for several years. She had to discontinue working due to health problems. Throughout everything Susan was a very loving and giving person. She always wanted to help others and even after her death helped many people through the gift of donation. Susan loved gardening, baking, caring for her dogs and watching The Bold and The Beautiful.
Susan Jenson passed away November 30, 2008 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 15 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred Oveson; son, Michael; daughter, Ranae; brother James Oveson; and sister, Patricia Englund.
Susan will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Loren; son, Gary Jenson of Pine City; daughter, Pamela Jenson of Virginia, MN; brother, Dennis (Frankie) Oveson; sister Janette (John) Hubbard; three grandchildren, Brooke, Aaron and Loren Naland; and by other relatives and friends.

My prayers go out to the family. I grew up in Littlefork and remeber visiting the Jensens. Suzie always had treats to offer. I still use her brownie recipe.
