Henry Trulsen, age 91, of Cambridge died May 10, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 15th at Cambridge Lutheran Church with Rev. David Everett offficiating. A visiting time will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will bein Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Henry Carl Trulsen was born September 25, 1917 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Carl and Olga (Vadrette) Trulsen. He was raised in St. Paul and graduated from Johnson High School. On June 29, 1946 Henry was united in marriage to Arline Lundgren and they made their home in St. Paul. Henry worked as a mechanic for Burlington Rail Road for 37 years. His faith was very important to him and he was very involved at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church. After moving to Cambridge Henry became a member of Cambridge Lutheran Church. He loved gardening, woodworking and fishing.
Henry C. Trulsen passed away on May 10, 2009 at home in Cambridge at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 15 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife, Arline on May 8, 1996, and by three siblings, Mary, Orville and Roy.
Henry is survived by five children, Leonard (Marlys) Trulsen of Cambridge, Carol (Keith) Swanson of Woodbury, Marvin (Joan) Trulsen of Woodbury, Dr. Marlin Trulsen of Hinckley, and Lyle Trulsen of Taylors Falls; seven grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer, Jennie Beth, Ryan, Nathan, Heidi and Kayla; three great-grandchildren, Tanner, Dylan and Alexis; and by other relatives and friends.
