Janice Steffensen, age 71, of Cambridge died June 1, 2009 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 6th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel with Pastor David Everett officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service.
Janice Carol Steffensen was born January 2, 1938 in Minneapolis to Joseph and Betty Skorpak. She was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Edison High School. On April 4, 1959 she married Curtis Steffensen. They made their home in Columbia Heights and then lived in Andover from 1968 1999. In 1999 they moved to Bradford Township in rural Cambridge. Janice especially enjoyed the family times with her grandchildren. She also raised and sold Arabian horses and Bichon Frise dogs. Janice also enjoyed reading, gardening and her flowers. In her younger years she enjoyed boating and swimming.
Janice Steffensen passed away June 1, 2009 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 29 days.
Janice is survived by husband, Curtis of Cambridge; three sons, Clayton (Kay) of Cambridge, Clinton of Isanti and Cory of Andover; four grandchildren, Randy, Ashley, Christopher and Katie; and by many other relatives and friends.
