Marlyce Nystrom, age 67, of Isanti died March 19, 2010 at the Cambridge Medical Center. The funeral service will be held ay 7:00 P.M. on Monday, March 22nd at our Cambridge Chapel. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until service time at 7:00 P.M.
Marlyce Lorraine Nystrom was born November 9, 1942 in Kenmare, North Dakota, the daughter of Alvin and Agnes (Lindberg) Nystrom. She grew up in Niobe, North Dakota and moved to Kenmare in 1971 with her mother. In 2001 they moved to Isanti. Marlyce was a member of the Elmdale Lutheran Church in Niobe where she was active in the ladies aid. The most special part of her life was her family and her nieces and nephews. Marlyce’s hobby was collecting dolls and she had a large collection. She also enjoyed playing cards, visiting with family and friends on the telephone and she loved taking care of little Abby.
Marlyce passed away on March 19, 2010 at the Cambridge Medical Center at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 10 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Milo. Marlyce is survived by two sisters, Carol (Curtis) Strand of Princeton, Jeanette (Jack) Devitt of Farmington; 2 brothers, Ronald Nystrom of Idaho, Darold (Deloris) Nystrom of Isle; sister-in-law, Valeria Nystrom of Fargo, North Dakota; by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and other relatives and friends.

When I think of Marlyce I always remember how she was so happy to be a part of we ladies in the Church in Niobe and how she took a part in all we did the later years- She was a very special person and was loved by all of us- -I also think of how Lillian talked about her when she taught her- She will be surely be missed. ruth
